Update

Just thought I'd let you in on how no Anti Social Media is going. Firstly it has freed up a lot of my time, I don't find myself scrolling, scrolling, scrolling for what only seems minutes a day, but is actually hours. I don't find myself in pointless discussions that in reality are more statements. Reading the News frustrates me a little as I think what people's opinions may be, I'm getting better at just switching Off from this. Hearing News from other Anti Social Media users, just relays that I'm not missing anything.

Day 8

Look closely, that is Ice on the Bullbar after an hours drive to work. Very Chilly morning. Apologies for no sunny photo's, as the rest of the day was beautiful. Getting close to our two week trip to a warmer part of the Country. More on that in upcoming posts. Feeling a little ill prepared, as they say all will be good on the night. My young mate is preparing dinner this evening, looking forward to not having to cook. Looks like another cool start tomorrow, have the fire cranking, looking good forward to hoping into bed.

Day 7

Been a busy day. Up at 5.30am, breakfast then a 50 minute drive to work. Fortunately no roos but plenty of fog. Day went well, apart from the fact of having to work with out of date, ancient equipment, most older than myself.  Makes a hard job even harder. The joy's of my industry. At some time our Industry will have to be dragged into 2017 out of 1957. Slow process.

Day 6.

Found out yesterday's post did not publish, technology or just perhaps user error. Most likely the latter. Just getting ready for another cool evening, nothing beats a fire. Been a busy day, dumbest here forgot he had to go crutching at 10am, then it was rush rush as I was in the middle of putting driving Light's on the New Purchase. Thanks to my young mate for dragging them for me. Forgot to mention the otherday, a big Thanks to ARB for their effort to get the Ute done, also a thanks for the Jacket and Cap. Back too work tomorrow. Starting to look forward to the trip away. Still a reasonable amount of preparation to do.

Day 5

It's been one of those days, achieved a reasonable amount, just seemed to go in slow motion. A Little work on the New Ute. Plus getting ready for the next adventure.

Day 4

An interesting day. The weather has been overcast,so no lovely photos. A new Ute purchase. Nearly two years in the making. Probably a little splurge, when you spend so many hour's behind the wheel, you kind of justify the expense. I'll wait and keep you updated. My Black Ute, which I'll be keeping and still using, has seen me well. 440000 klm on the clock, very few issues, very good Ute. I hope this purchase sees me well also. Time will tell.

Day 3

Looks like another beautiful day has begun. Wonderful how the colours change as the dawn is breaking, or the sun is setting. Sometimes I wonder if people stop and truly appreciate a sunrise or sunset. We see many photos, but do people just take a snap and turn their backs, or do they take a snap and immerse Themselves? I Wonder? Just doing a cool burn. A bit of an experiment as such. I believe our First Nation people had a great understanding of country. Trying to learn some of that through experimentation.  I'll paint a little picture. It's 6.15 pm, this fire is still burning well, it's between 7 and 8 degrees Celsius, with the damp rising. As a C.F.A volunteer, my advice, never underestimate fire, yet don't dismiss it, as it can bring many positives. Let's utilise the positives, then we may be able to offset the negatives.

Day 2

Day 1. On a sunny winters afternoon, after once again wasting part of my life scrolling through posts on Facebook, I decided to deactivate my account. The reasons were simple and many. It was time to live in MY WORLD. Many of us have become consumed by the gadgets in our lives and what these gadgets bring, for me it was time to turn off, what I would best describe as, Anti Social Media. Time to fill my head with what is important to me, rather than what is going on elsewhere. In a gadget world, it was time to Reboot.
